Who does not want Happiness in this world? As the title of the books says, it gives a lot of time-tested Guidelines for Happiness to every one of us. For example, the sage Yajnavalkya had a conversation with his spouse, Sulabha Maitreyi at the time of his retirement (Vanaprastham) as follows: Maitreyi, an Advaita Philosopher (Monism) and a very popular female expounder of Vedas in her own capacity said: "If now, Sir, this whole earth filled with wealth were mine, would I be immortal thereby?" "No", said Yajnavalkya. "As the life of the rich, even so, would your life be. Of immortality, however, there is no hope through wealth." Then said Maitreyi: "What should I do with that through which I may not be immortal? What you know, Sir – that, indeed, tell me!" Yajnavalkya replied to Maitreyi: "Ah! I am a retired Industrial Engineer since 2014. I belong to a very popular House, “Chathirathar House” (My forefathers constructed Choultries (Free Inn) from Varanasi to Rameswaram in British ruled days). My Native Place is a small Town, Devakottai in Tamilnadu. I am residing in Trichy. Both of these two places are more than 2000 years old and have seen different religions, communities, rules, histories etc. I studied Industrial Engineering at one of the prestigious institutes of India, Regional Engineering College, Trichy (Now known as NIT), India. On the need basis, I studied a certificate course on Homeopathy for family life. I took a Diploma in Advanced Management from (west) Germany for working life. After retirement, I started writing books. I published my first book - a Tamil Poetry Book "????? ??? ?????????" meaning "why is the song for?". Then I translated an authentic Tamil Book on the Great Emperor Rajendra Sozhan into English by the title "Sozhapuram that won the Gangai". I have been writing in Blogs, and Web Sites. On the advice and encouragement given by the readers of the Blog, and friends, I wrote this Book, "A Time-Tested Guide for Happiness" that is now in your hands
