Author Name: Lakshmanan Kasinathan | Format: Hardcover | Genre : Philosophy | Other Details
About the Book, "Happiness – A Scientific Outlook" We are confronted with many myths in our life. For instance, some may say after I get a Job, I will be happy. Another would say I would be happy once I marry my fiancé. This kind of “Will be Happy” myths is passionately believed by all of us forever. Is it not? This book is taking the reader on an Onerous job of a scientific expedition on Happiness from the ancient time until now. Philosophers of all hues and branches have been equally striving earnestly to get the pearls out of the deep sea of wisdom. Science is the belief that our thought and action should be governed by reasons. For every effect a cause is asserted – This is called the Causal relationship or cause and effect relationship. This is the basis of Scientific Outlook. Both west and east agree that emotions can be changed at our will and Happiness is our choice. After all, they are just chemical reactions only as per the scientists. They will spoil the very fun when their limit of intake exceeds. Discussion on Happiness from the points of more abstract concepts like Infinity and Average is made in the simple form for better understanding. Scientists try to know unknown things through known things. Here we are shown unknown aspects of the most known Concepts like “Time”. The book shows the ways to monitor Happiness or lack of Happiness too with the latest scientific techniques.
