M. M. Rahman
Prof. Dr. M. M. Rahman (Md. Mijanur Rahman) has been working as a faculty member of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangladesh, since 2008. He served before as an Instructor (Tech) Computer in Govt. Polytechnic Institute of Bangladesh from 2005 to 2008. He worked as Visiting Scholar at University Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia, in 2020. He obtained his B. Sc. (Hons) and M. Sc. degree, with first-class first in Computer Science and Engineering from Islamic University, Bangladesh. He achieved his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He is a post-doctoral fellow of UGC Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2022 in Bangladesh University Grants Commission.
Prof. Rahman has several research papers in reputed international and national journals to his credit. His teaching and research interest lie in the areas such as artificial intelligence and neural networks, digital speech and image processing, Internet of things, biometrics, etc. He is an author of several book chapters, and his one academic book titled Continuous Bangla Speech Processing: Segmentation, Classification and Recognition has been published in 2022.
