This translation-cum-study is a tribute to all those are dead in love with the Prophet PBUH and was developed on the basis some both Arabic and English texts and studies like Ibtighā’ al Wusūl li Ḥub Allāh bi Madah al Rasūl of Abū Muḥammad Waylattur, a famous Islamic scholar lived around Tirur, Kerala, India, al Bunyān al Marṣuṣ fī Sharah al Mawlid al Manqūṣ of ‘Abbās bin Muḥaymid Kanjangad and Manqūṣ Mawlid Wyakhyanam of Mukkam Muḥammad Bāqawi, Muhamet of maxim Rodinson (1961, a French Orientalist and Marxist). Save for these, the author has depended on several dictionaries (which otherwise, should have led me to erroneous assumptions while I check out the actual meaning), Quranic exegeses of Marmaduke Pickthall and ‘Abdullāh Yūsuf ‘Alī, various Ḥaīdth texts available through Maktab al Shamela and sought helps from lots of colleagues and lecturers as well like Ja’far Hudawī Indianur. I thankfully remember the encouragement extended to this work by the classmates to write and publish my work. And, hereby I sincerely wish to express gratitude to all of them; especially Ramees Melattur and APM Bsaheer, my motivators and may teacher cum editors Unais Hudawi, Umar Hudawi and Nizar Babu Hudawi. May Allāh reward them the best. Āmīn.
