Dr.P.Lalitha is serving as Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore. She has 26 years of experience in teaching and research. She is specialized in the field of Organic Chemistry, Nanochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, and drug conjugation studies. She has 165 International Journal publications, 6 National Journals, 123 articles and 17 Book publications to her credit. She has handled 7projects with funds from DRDO-LSRB, DST-TDT, TNSCST. She has delivered 110 invited talks. She has also organized 65 Seminars / Conferences/ Workshops. She has been awarded the Best NSS Programme Officer, Great Indian Award and Best Teacher Award (Nehru Institutions).
