The novel covers a traumatic period in Indian history when partition was around the corner. Central to the theme is a love affair between an Afghan tribal chieftain and two girls. The book recreates the passion of a man for a woman in a scenario when law and order had broken down. It will make thrilling reading. The author has created what everybody likes, a tale of a strong man and lovely women.

MG Singh
MG Singh is an early retired officer of the IAF. MG had a checkered career and is an alumnus of the Staff College as well as a member of the Air Staff Inspection Team. MG is qualified in management and Law as well as holding PG in Physics. He took up writing a few years ago and has written over 7000 articles on the net. In addition MG is a prolific short story writer and has published over sixty short stories in various magazines.
MG is presently a corporate advisor and The Romance of the Frontier is his first novel. MG has drawn heavily from his experience in the services for this novel. He also has a strong connection with Punjab and thus has first-hand accounts from his grandfather about the tumultuous period of partition of India which forms the backdrop of the novel.
MG is fond of golf and writing and is a specialist on military matters. MG is happily married with one son.
