The Question

​Things were going really well. Only few seconds were left for Rohan to start having the most expensive ice cream that he had never tried or had before. This ice cream was his last ice cream and also the last food he had eaten. Something was waiting to get revealed to Rohan who has been religiously waiting for him during his entire life.

Well, the story begins since Rohan got his capability of thinking and questioning everything. He was very fond of Science, Philosophy and all that. Once his teacher punished him because he was trying to solve a mathematical problem in different ways at his home instead of doing his homework for the next day class. When teachers used to ask him why he is not following the norms of the school, Rohan always used to come up with answer which is stunning to the teachers. One day he said,"Sir, once you told me to never jump to next topic until and unless you build a strong understanding of the concept. That's why I couldn't satisfy myself without experimenting my problem in other ways possible to confirm myself whether I am right or not."

Rohan was really curious and experimenting boy. He was quite creative but sometimes he missed his homework doing his things.

Rohan became interested in science fiction movies where things like time machine and other futuristic technologies are shown that we cannot imagine them possible in today's world. Later he became disappointed for the fact that fiction is not the reality. To make something possible in reality, we should work hard for that instead of wasting time watching fiction movies.

Rohan was very philosophical in nature. Everytime he had to make decision he used to think a lot even for a small decision. One day he became so much depressed and started suffering in existentialism. One thing he never got any logical answer was about life. He was very pessimistic about the answer that he will never get until he dies. He was confused whether his consciousness will remain after death or not, if remains then this will it be the same consciousness or not. This caused the reason of his depression. He stopped eating ice cream , which he ate frequently. He has been always anti-social type of a boy. But this time he became even worse of it. His parents were tensed about it. His friends started mocking him calling a mad. His parents took him to a life therapist and he took the responsibility to serve his mental health. Maybe Rohan's creativity did not served him in better way. Rohan was convinced in a way that he brought his happiness back in his life. He stopped thinking about that topic. Ice Cream was his favourite and always helped him so He started eating ice-cream which he stopped during depression. One day his uncle bought a special ice-cream for him and it was the most expensive in the market. Rohan became very happy. His uncle said,"This is a reward for you. Don't be upset anytime because of useless thoughts beta!". Rohan shook his head to intend "yes" and started having the ice cream. All of a sudden, their Television spoke out something terrible,"Scientists have been noticing an asteroid coming across to the earth since few months but we thought it will pass anyway will not enter to earth's atmosphere and we cannot do anything with the problem. but this came false and very hopelessly and unbelievably speaking, we, the humans and all animals and living beings are going to die.. we'll be finished...oh my god and this asteroid is going to attack in few seconds and...'. The T.V channel stopped working. As rohan started having his ice cream and became stunned hearing this news, he was thinking about the same question. It was all about few seconds and everything has changed. Who is Rohan?, who are their parents and teachers?, all information remained of no use. And maybe Rohan's question got the answer too early. In next few seconds the asteroid hit the Earth but in the north region. All the northern region was affected, or destroyed. The area where Rohan lived was saved with god's grace. But due to the asteroid the heat was too much and all the Earth started to heat. Everybody started work from home and stopped coming out from their houses. Gradually Earth became a fire wall and All the poeple living on it vanished. Rohan got his anwer but left his curiousness.
