Hence, there is a need to shift to low carbon clean energy in the energy transformation and value system. Such a system calls for availability of right type of clean energy, right product, process

Hence, there is a need to shift to low carbon clean energy in the energy transformation and value system. Such a system calls for availability of right type of clean energy, right product, process technology, affordability of users and appropriate institutions. In rural areas where clean energy poverty is high, diffusion of clean energy products will be possible by addressing the issues of information dissemination, availability, financing, affordability, serviceability and creating income generation opportunities.An action research method of partial interventions in the ecosystem and assessment of effect has been adopted. The study was undertaken in the areas of South Odisha, with predominantly rural population. Through a series of case studies, the components of clean energy ecosystems and their iterations have been studied. The findings of the book can help policy makers and marketing agencies and divisions of companies to plan the diffusion of clean energy products in unserved areas among poor consumers in a systematic way.
