Dr. Rajneesh Prajapat completed his M.Sc in Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, INDIA in the year 2005. The M.Sc project specialization completed in the area of “Medical Diagnostics Techniques” from SPAN Diagnostics Ltd., Surat, Gujarat, INDIA. He was completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Science, Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Sikar, Rajasthan (India) under the supervision of Dr. R. K. Gaur on “Molecular and In Silico Characterization of Begomovirus components infecting weeds of North India” in 2014. He graduated from M.D.S University, Ajmer, Rajasthan (India).
Dr. Rajneesh Prajapat has 52 international and 11 national publications with 45 sequences in NCBI database. We also qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ASRB/ CSIR-UGC. He is the founder of GVDB database and in silico modeling studies on geminivirus and begomovirus. He has command over various medical, molecular, and bioinformatics tools and techniques.
The core interest area of Dr. R. Prajapat is medical diagnostics, biochemistry, homology modeling, molecular docking, biological database development, and in silico drug designing. He worked as a lecturer at the Department of Biotechnology, Sobhahasaria Group of Institution, Sikar, Rajasthan [India] till January 2012. Presently he is working as Senior Lecturer - Medical Diagnostics & Biotechnology at Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Vidya Vihar, BITS campus, Pilani, Rajasthan, INDIA.
