He has covered functions like marketing, advertising, institutional sales, business strategy, product planning, vendor development, network management, mergers & acquisitions, public relations, advocacy, and integration. Academically, Avik is an alumnus of IMD Lausanne and XLRI Jamshedpur, having graduated in Economics from Hans Raj College, Delhi University.
He also advises an automotive forum, an automobile art institution, and a leading APAC digital conference. He sits in the Advisory Board of XLRI Delhi-NCR campus. He is also part of a sustainable mobility think-tank called CAPR. A speaker on the automobile industry across media platforms, Avik regularly contributes to platforms like ET Auto, Businessworld, MxM India, Autocar India and AutoFinTechs on subjects ranging from automotive policy and brand strategy to socioeconomics.
Apart from the above Avik also sketches, follows football, and listens to all types of music.
