Once an international career investment banker of 14 years, lan Clarke, 38, isn't your typical financier. Racially, sexually and gender non-binary, he is today a speaker, scientist, entrepreneur, author and leader.
London-born but nowadays more a New Yorker (having lived there 2017-2021), he's worked across two continents and all lines of business in global financial services. Yet he's also a certified therapist and psychologist with two degrees, 14 awards for excellence and a penchant for travel, karaoke, astronomy, computer games, humanism, exploration, Star Trek, officiating weddings and driving change.
Through a genuine love of people, he also holds at least ten world records helping others thrive. Such as, in 2021, delivering the first black female board appointment in investment banking's 400-year history, adding 'whistleblower' to his many labels.
Today, he leads the Deilightful Group a 'Change Engine' that's pioneering a rare, brand-new industry at the forefront of advancing scientific endeavour, true leadership and driving meaningful positive change on the world stage.
