Dr G. Sreenivasan is the author of Power Theft, which has raised readers to a unique level. Four of his books have hit best-sellers list, and many have gone into multiple editions. He writes books for techies, children and teens and often highlights the strength of families and endurance of friendships. 
An investigator of technical crimes, he has travelled extensively in the country even in disguise and undertaken many surreptitious investigations across the country to find the source of technical crimes, to learn about the history of regions, and to trace the path of his characters. Many of the characters in this book are real-life ones, whom he came across during the journey.
 Born and brought up in a remote village in Central Travancore, Kerala, he studied in the vernacular. He has migrated to Thiruvananthapuram and is active in blogging under the pseudonym tamperfinder.
