Poornesh is an economist by qualification and an investor by passion. Born in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, Poornesh attended the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad and Harvard Business School. He also has a Master’s in Economics from Mysore University. He has served as director in many companies across various sectors and a professor in economics for 5 years. After that, he got into KAS (Karnataka Administrative Services) and served as Assistant Commissioner under the government of Karnataka. He quit to become a full-time investor in Indian equity market. He has been practicing value investment, focusing on small and midcap companies. He has traversed equity market for 15 years and seen both bull and bear markets. This ups and downs taught him valuable insights that are clearly visible in this book.
