Rita Awasthi Mishra

Rita Awasthi (Mishra) was born in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh on 4th January, 1958. She graduated from Gorakhpur University with M.A. in Sanskrit. Her stories have been published in many prominent periodicals. Many of her programs have been broadcasted on Gorakhpur Radio. After her marriage several of her stories were also broadcasted on Lucknow Radio. She has a great interest in reading books and painting. This is her first collection of short stories which has been published after a long duration of time. She is an author whose stories have the diversity of social truths and human relationships.
