It is not a dossier or a diary! “Anecdotally Yours” captures the anecdotes of life—random yet aligned. The observations are made by soaking up sights, sounds, and overtones. Each reflection is crafted into a story with a non-prescriptive lesson told in a light-hearted manner. The observations are linked to day-to-day occurrences that are often ignored or are scantly addressed. The narratives in business, ecology, society/humanity, and technology are shared.
These are conceived and crafted into 25 chapters. The narrative energy dwells on well-known and well-accepted principles. Yet it maintains just enough novelty in the retelling. Each chapter is bite-sized, to be consumed in less than five minutes because the author is well aware of the reader’s attention span, which is ironically at a premium in the so-called “attention economy.”

Somjit Amrit
Somjit Amrit stumbled upon the blogging world, which made him write. He enjoys reading, which is sort of second nature to him. The constructive corollary of reading is writing.
A decade ago, he started writing reviews of the books he had read. Subsequently, he started blogging on a variety of subjects: lessons learned from Mother Nature, and first-hand experiences of relevance to help others. Technology for business is one of his areas of interest.
With over 30 years of rich professional experience, he has led global business units in the IT services industry spanning four continents. He is an engineer by qualification from NIT, Rourkela, with a management degree from IIM Lucknow.
