Brian Unrolls His Mat is a collection of short stories that includes rewrites of old stories with an attempt to mitigate their sexist content. It also has some new stories, which are again trying to avoid sexism, despite being written by a man.

Brian Haddon
Born in 1940 to working-class parents, Brian Haddon went to a grammar school, though the opportunity was wasted as the culture was not to his liking. He trained as a nurse and, after graduation, did psychiatric training. But then he came to the conclusion that psychiatry was suspect.
Later, Brian studied Community Development at Liverpool University and trained in group psychotherapy in the 1960s and 70s. Drawn into management, he managed Alpha House—a major drug addiction centre. Later, he managed several other facilities.
Brian has always been involved in a sport of some kind. He currently plays Pétanque to a reasonable standard. He also writes fiction and non-fiction.
