Gold Medallist in B.Com (Hons) in 1969 and consecutive years 1973 & 1974 in bank, the author is a banker having 38 years of experience in credit and continues as a visiting faculty & Adjunct Professor for BFSI specifically on Credit Appraisal, Analysis of financial statements, working Capital Finance, Risk Management in various commercial banks across India and Universities like Bennett University, Amity University, Indian Institute of Banking& Finance (IIBF), National Institute of Banking Studies & Corporate Management (NIBSCOM); for more than 17 years. He has worked at Punjab National Bank (e-OBC) and made substantial changes in the credit policy of the Bank keeping in view the difficulties being faced by the field functionaries. He framed Credit Risk Management Policy during the period 2005-08.
