My work on behavioral economics, however, could indirectly relate to climate change by exploring how cognitive biases and psychological factors influence individual and collective decision-making regarding environmental issues and policy adoption . For example, understanding cognitive biases like present bias or optimism bias could be crucial in explaining why individuals might delay action on climate change despite long-term risks . Similarly, my work on policy recommendations in behavioral economics could inform strategies for encouraging pro-environmental behaviors.
