Gulsum Basheer is a Chennai-based writer with a deep and abiding passion for storytelling. She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature and writes in both English and Tamil. She is the author of two English short story collections, Talk a Little and Talk a Little More, and a Tamil short story collection titled Mella Pesum Kadhaigal. Her writing often explores quiet emotions, unspoken conflicts, and the inner lives of ordinary people. She has been writing poetry since childhood, and this book is her first published collection of poems.
