Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalWAR is not just about the violence we witness — it is about the unseen battles we fight within.
In this searing collection of 25 poems, Manish Prasad strips away the masks of society, faith, power, and self, revealing a world teetering between contradiction and courage. Each poem wrestles with the word “war”— as conflict, as metaphor, as truth.
From the quiet agony of indecision to the thunderous roar of injustice, these verses are raw, reflective, and ruthlessly honest.
WAR invites you to look beyond headlines, beyond borders, and deep into your own soul.
Will you make peace with what you find?

MANISH PRASAD
Manish Prasad is an educator, poet, and dreamer who believes that words can wound—and heal.
Born in the misty hills of Kurseong and educated at Goethals Memorial School and Delhi University, he carries within him the quiet intensity of the mountains and the relentless questioning of a seeker.
His previous poetry collections, The Wanderer’s Lust and Just Another One, explored longing, identity, and movement.
WAR is his most personal offering yet—an excavation of the visible and invisible battles we fight every day.
Beyond poetry, Manish is the author of Blueprints for the Future: 100 Emerging Careers, a pioneering work that guides students through the evolving landscape of 21st-century opportunities.
When he is not writing or teaching, he is listening—to silence, to stories, and to the stirrings within.
