A Sojourn in Silence addresses some common questions and the writer's interpretation of their not-so-common answers and also attempts to naively interpret Creation, decipher God's grace and describe the greatness of the Guru. The book has been inspired by age-old teachings of Spiritual Masters, spiritual discourses of some divinely chosen speakers, great books that the writer has had the good fortune of reading, music that has moved her soul, nature and people in her life. The writer's thoughts have found expression in this book as poetry in freestyle.

Lakshmi was born and raised in Chennai, India. She graduated as an Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and was last seen in the IT industry as a Product Manager.
