An Ode, Elegy, and a Ballad is a collection cover a wide range of topics, from love and life to the natural world. When we are head over heels in love, we lose all objectivity and give ourselves entirely to the other person. We fell in love based on our own preconceived notions and ideals, and we sought to mold others to suit our own preferences. rather than asking why we can’t accept people as they are.
