Bound by Time & Tide is compiled with poems over the last 2 years written at different points in time – some candid and flashing thoughts through the passage of life.
Each poem has an inspiration – whether it is a moving song, a revelatory passage in my current read or bits and pieces of my own life, sown together in a tapestry of words.
While I think each poem is followed by a different epiphany, I hope my message shines bright through the flurry of pages, that light is always found at the end of the tunnel
It is a pleasure to share what was once scribbled out thoughts on random pieces of paper, and now a compilation of poems that mark different milestones in my life. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed composing it.

Naivedya Roy is a 16-year-old, studying in DPS RK Puram, New Delhi. She was born in Delhi, and raised in Delhi and Mumbai. She is academically accomplished, while being a voracious reader, reading books from a very tender age. Writing has been her hobby from early childhood, a means to preserve her thoughts at various stages of her life. Amongst other things, she is also an accomplished pianist, a French language enthusiast, and has won numerous accolades in the field of academics. She also loves to travel, and cook, with her specialization being Italian cuisine.
