Facility Management Brings Economy Benefits To Organizations edition 2

Author Name: John Lok | Format: Paperback | Genre : Business, Investing & Management | Other Details

My hypothetical book on behavioral economics and facility management would likely offer a unique perspective by integrating the psychological biases and heuristics identified in behavioral economics with the practical, operational, and strategic challenges of facility management (FM). While traditional FM literature often focuses on engineering, project management, and financial optimization.

My work would distinguish itself by exploring how cognitive biases influence decision-making within FM contexts, from energy consumption choices to maintenance scheduling and space utilization. For instance, it might delve into how present bias affects long-term infrastructure investments, or how anchoring bias impacts budget negotiations for FM services. This interdisciplinary approach would be a significant departure from conventional FM texts, which typically do not extensively incorporate behavioral science principles.
