The principal objectives of the book continue to be to provide an introduction to basic concepts and methodologies for digital image processing, and to develop a foundation that can be used as the basis for further study and research in this field. To achieve these objectives, we focused again on material that we believe is fundamental and whose scope of application is not limited to the solution of specialized problems. The mathematical complexity of the book remains at a level well within the grasp of college seniors and first-year graduate students who have introductory preparation in mathematical analysis, vectors, matrices, probability, statistics; linear systems, and computer programming. The book provides tutorials to support readers needing a review of this background material.

Dr.M.Poonguzhali M.E.,PhD graduated a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, in the year 1997, and Master of Engineering in Applied Electronics in 1999. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in the area of Grid Computing from Anna University, Chennai, in 2014. She has 20 years of teaching experience and presently she is a Professor & Head in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Narasu’s Sarathy Institute of Technology, Salem. She has published more than 30 research papers in National and International conferences and Journals.
Dr. Mohammad Jabirullah is working as Associate Professor & HoD of ECE in Lord's Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. He has received Doctor of Philosophy in the area of MANET from Sri Satya Sai University of Technology and Medical Sciences, Bhopal in 2021 and Master of Technology in Wireless Mobile Communication from Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad, in 2010.
Mr.S.Sabarinathan M.E., MBA(HR)., (PhD) acquired a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College, Namakkal, in the year 2011,M.E. degree in VLSI Design from MahaBharathi Engineering College in the year 2013,and an MBA degree in HR from Periyar university in the year 2015 . He Pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Anna University, Chennai. He has 9 years of teaching experience, at present he is working as an Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, Narasu's Sarathy Institute of Technology, Salem".
Mr. Omer Bin Hussain, is currently working as a Lecturer in Department of Computer Science, College of Computer Science, King Khalid University, Abha – Saudi Arabia. He has received his BSc in Computer Science from Gulbarga University, MCA from Kuvempu University and is pursuing his doctorate - Ph.D. in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University respectively. He has over 20 years of vast experience in teaching and administrative work in reputed Colleges and Universities in India and overseas. His research interests lie in the Digital Image Processing, Digital Watermarking, Programming Languages, ranging from theory to design and implementation, with a focus on improving software quality. He has also published textbooks along with a Indian patent. He has authored many research papers in International Conferences, SCI and Scopus-indexed journals of repute and has also authored books in the field of Computer Science.
