In our fast-paced lives, we often overlook the importance of firsts. Heartache and the struggle for survival obscure so many small victories. Do you recall the first time you tried a certain ice cream flavor? When did you first try painting? Your first book? Your first piece of poetry? I do not. My entire existence up to this point has been documented in this poetry collection. Since life is an ever-evolving canvas painted in a spectrum of emotions, the collection's topic is purposefully left undefined. Every moment is an invitation to investigate, think upon, and enjoy the countless shades of existence, from the soft whispers of daybreak to the turbulent storms of the heart. I would love to share this celebration with you since it marks the first time, I have had the guts to put my work together.
