Dr. Lakshmi Balaji, Ph.D., is a scholar of literature and an educator by vocation. She has long nurtured a deep engagement with language, culture, and the power of expression. Her foray into poetry reflects the convergence of her personal quest for creative articulation and her deep empathy for the world around. She lives with her family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is Vice Principal and Head, Department of English at Dr.MGR Janaki College of Arts & Science for Women.
