The Motive and other short stories is another refreshing bouquet of short stories written by Anjali Warhadpande. In keeping with her style, this collection too has stories one unlike the other, which makes for an interesting read.
Human emotions, behaviour and thinking that comes in all shades and variety, is at the crux of every story which causes the reader to be glued to this book, making every story a page-turner. What is interesting is the insight each story gives to the working of the human mind, for a single emotion carves a different path in different minds. This is what makes it an engrossing read.

Anjali Warhadpande has to her published credit, young fiction, poetry books, short stories collection and a novel. Writing for her is time well spent. After teaching English for twenty years, she is now spending her time doing what she loves best…being around books; either reading or writing them.
