The contemporary society, reality, devotion and romance are usually the subjects of his writings. Mr. Mukherjee was awarded ‘The Nijon Dechoudhury Smriti Purashkar`,’Kabi Nityananda Shitya Smriti Purashkar`etc. He was invited to an international poetry festival in Bangladesh in 2016 by the joint collaboration of Swpno Shitya Patrika,Kolkata and Upoma Sahitya Ptrika,Dhaka. In this book ‘The Unruffled Curtain` though the poems are written in the subject of romance but it touches in several corners of the life.

Anindya Mukherjee is an Indian poet. By profession, he is a teacher of social science group in a Higher Secondary Institution under the State Government of West Bengal in India. He is a writer in Instagram, Tumbler, Medium, Your quote, Mirakee, Commaful, etc. and in several Bengali magazines. He was a chief editor of a renowned Bengali little magazine. He is a natural poet. The poems are his passion. He has published many poetry books in Bengali in which the notables are Aakash Hoe Shue Achi,Ranaghat Junction,Krishna Vabna etc. His poems are enlisted in several Bengali and English anthologies.
