The best of the tribal food in Silvassa is not only cooked in the tribal kitchens but they are also cooked in the open fields, or by the river side, and even in the deep jungles as well. So, the tourist who are usually on a tight schedule, even if seeking the genuine taste and method of preparation of such delicacies, are usually bumped into the superficial hotel menu boasting of tribal foods but fall much short to the original variety.
All said and done, the first thought as a conclusion, which comes to my mind is to leave the tribal alone and let them lead their lives as they want to, i.e. unattended and without un-necessary development. However, the local governments, as their policies may be, tend to undertake developmental activities in the tribal belt, not necessarily on the Tribal timeline, which sometimes creates imbalances resulting into conflicts and misunderstandings.
