K S Manoj is an electronics and communication engineer with design interest in physical-cyber security of Industrial Control Systems who continues to explore the adoption of new security strategies in order to promote safer and more reliable automation infrastructures. Initially, he specialized in design and development of SCADA systems.  However, after realizing the importance of the cyber security of ICS, he focused towards the attack vectors of advanced threats in the interdependent critical cyber infrastructures and framing mitigation strategies. He holds a Masters in Technology (Communication Electronics) from Department of Electronics, CUSAT, India and another Masters in Solid State Electronics from University of Kerala, India. He worked for KELTRON, SCTIMST and KSEBLtd and having over 30 years of experience in Automation and Energy Engineering.
