God Is Not deals about how the concept of god was created during Stone Age due to underdeveloped brains of human beings and inadequate scientific knowledge. The Stone Age man was afraid of natural calamities and unpredictable behavior of nature. The reasons of life and death, day and night and natural phenomena were beyond his understanding, and consequently, he started believing in God. Later on, places of worship were built. Along with the misbelief about the existence of god, many other misbeliefs such as the presence of soul, rebirth, life after death, principle of Karma and other superstitions crept in. The same misbeliefs have descended from generation to generation.
But the fact is that there is no god. Science does not believe in anything that cannot be seen, heard or felt. The worshipping of god is a very costly affair for the society – We spend a lot of money and time on false beliefs and superstitions.
In this book, efforts have been made to convince people about the non-existence of god logically and scientifically. Although theism is so much deep-rooted in our lives, it will take a long time to bring about complete atheism. But ultimately, truth must prevail and ignorance must end.
