In the year of 2020, the nationwide lockdown that followed the world-wide outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic was a very difficult period for several. Outside people’s homes, the number of COVID-positive cases increased by tens of thousands every day while on the inside, they battled fear, insecurity, and sorrow to make it past the line every single day. This book was written with a focus on lockdown phase in Hosur, a fast-growing industrial town in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.
Rahul is a young man in his early 20s who has just been through a rough breakup and is struggling to stay in control. To forget the pain, he occupies himself with anything – movies, sports, games, or reading history. Like most people he tries to avoid the inevitable truth by avoiding it instead of facing it – he was lonely, and depressed. The lockdown only worsened this situation – surrounded by walls in his room all day with nothing but his thoughts. Will he open up to anyone about it, or will he let it consume him and eventually implode?
