S.K. Narang has been mainly associated with school education and was the director (in charge) of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous organisation of the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. His passion is fiction, both English and Hindi, and he has also written books on education and history. His forthcoming English novels are Passion, a suspenseful romantic comedy, and Vini the Vamp, a tragic story of a greedy middle-class woman who fell foul of the law. He lives in Delhi with his wife.
