Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal'Just Another Introvert Poet' brings to you an anthology of eighteen selected poems, penned down through a process of self-exploration for over a decade, now. Poems inside revolve around the lives and thoughts of an introvert, just as the title states. It starts off with an intense sense of isolation, gradually getting in order to lead a contented life. No two poems have a connection intentionally. But the readers may try and connect the dots, maybe? Pandemic 2020 has somehow managed to find a way to fit into the book, too. You find a hint of humour here and there, in bits and pieces. Which makes this an astonishing, deadly combination you won't regret reading.
S. Shayesta Ahmed
Syeda Shayesta Ahmed, The Author of the book, 'Just Another Introvert Poet', is an amateur writer, an amateur photographer and a student. She has a little something, of everything. She has published original articles in the finest Youth Magazine of UAE, The Young Vision, Dubai. She is an awardee for securing the second position in the whole of UAE, in the "Business Talent Hunt - 2016" Organised by The Skyline University, Sharjah. Writing has not just been a hobby, but a saving place for her. It was something that helped her push through, and took her mind away from the darkness. As a kid, she used to only write to be a part of an Alumni Magazine. This time, she has dared to share her journey with the world. Her words smell of chaos, but that's okay, she finds her peace in storms. 'Writing' is just her way of spening time with herself doing something she loves. This might sound so far from her content, but believe me she's a very practical person in real. She doesn't get her emotions involved with people of things easily. Regardless, writing gives her a sense of emotion. She pets every four-legged friend on the streets, cause' she knows, happiness starts with a bark and ends with a wagging tail. She is also a sucker of Biryani, music and art. Try reading her work to learn more about her. Maybe?
