Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIn his book, the author has raised issues of different temperaments and moods. Some pain, grief, agony from the environment around, unresolved relationships, issues related to misunderstanding and ill-will or issues related to the ever-rising requirements of humans which raise questions. Sometimes such questions are best left open ended.
The author is reluctant to define these as Poetry (nazmein) since the author is perhaps presuming that there is neither rhyme nor rhythm. These are simple messages searching for something under the searchlight.
Why not we define these as conversations with a difference? And thus, named "Conversation with a difference." (kuch mukhatlif guftgu)
Dheeraj Bhasin
Dheeraj Bhasin, an XLRI Alumni, is working as a Practice Lead in one of the companies . He is an avid reader for non-fiction and poetry. The writing came to him instinctively. He was very close to the books since his childhood. He says, “books are the mirror to my mind.” He started writing poetry in school and college and gained attention during the Kavi Sammelan.
He also got an opportunity to write a few episodes for a serial in one of the TV channels during his college days but with the condition to be a ghostwriter!
He accepted the proposal to earn some pocket money, and that gave him some exposure towards screenplay as well.
The author accepts that although he is very keen in writings that give him inner satisfaction, his corporate job bails him out on many occasions!
