He has served for 27 years in various capacities in the Postgraduate and Research Department of Economics under the Directorate of Tamil Nadu, Collegiate Educational Service. He has published number of research articles in various national and international journals apart from contributing research articles to daily Newspapers such as the Hindu, the New Indian Express and the Business World and various magazines.
