Krish Gupta

Krish Gupta is a student at The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, with a keen passion for business and economics. He has pursued his interest in these fields by completing courses on game theory and behavioral finance offered by Johns Hopkins University and Duke University. He has also honed his entrepreneurial and business management skills via participation in the Young Entrepreneurs Academy program, the Young Tycoons Business Competition, and the Wharton Global High School Investment Competition. Additionally, Krish is the head of his school’s Economics Society and has also interned at two investment banking firms, gaining hands-on experience in strategic research and the development of business pitches. Krish’s other interests include computer programming and playing the drums for various competitive events and fundraisers.  

Krish is an ardent believer in the combined power of youth empowerment and entrepreneurial knowledge dissemination, and in April 2022, he created IndoVenture, a social initiative focused on empowering students from underserved communities with the knowledge and skills to conceptualize business ideas, conduct market research, and explore the fundamentals of entrepreneurship in a sustainable and socially-relevant manner. 

He also led workshops at The Virmani Education Trust’s Dhanpatmal Virmani Senior Secondary School, where he divided students into teams and encouraged them to work on their own business idea based on their understanding of their communities needs. Piku’s Pickles is aimed at increasing accessibility to the fundamentals of business planning through a relatable narrative, in an effort to foster a spirit of entrepreneurship within children from a young age.
