Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalMy eyes ache when I look around,
there’s still so much more to look for
As the end is near and yet so far
Here is the past version of me
Sitting with a pink quartz and some mental potential
Sorrowed, wined, loved, cried, broken, joyed, healed
How did I even end up here?
Maybe I am just a little boy
All because of you
Maybe I am just young

Lakshay Singh, eighteen, is a medical student and an author of two poetry collections published earlier. He took a gap year after graduating from high school to figure out what he wishes to pursue in the future. He ventured into poetry and writing at the age of fifteen. It started as a form of interest, he posted his poetry on social media and as his interest grew he decided to publish a collection of his own writings.
His debut book 'Midnight ecstasy, Midnight Sorrow' then his sophomore book titled 'Unknown lullabies'.
Singh loves to write about the complicated classic love and different situations in life that one goes through and can relate to. His speciality is to focus on various human emotions felt by someone and turn them into classic poetry for the readers to relate.
Poems I Couldn’t Say' is Singh's third official poetry collection. The idea for this book came when he started thinking about how every human is so different and unique from each other and their emotions too. How a person can feel and absorb an emotion in several ways which a human mind can't comprehend but the heart can. He wrote these poems during his last year of school and during his gap year.
