une is a six-year-old kid who loves listening to bedtime stories and making her own.
She lives in Chennai with her sister (Ms Peanut) and her parents.
‘Sylvia’s Neighborhood' is based on all her friends who live in her own neighborhood. June is a super-curious kid who likes playing chess and doing maths at odd times, and it’s pretty good fun being friends with her. She is an artist herself, but she wanted her sister to draw the pictures for her first book. Of course, she takes inspiration from her sister most of the time. Being homeschoolers, they both go on various learning trips around the country, make lots of friends along the way, and create fun stories based on the fun tidbits from their journey.
