Ushi Kak

Ushi Kak has a master’s degree in English from B.H.U. as well as a degree in English and American literature from Northeastern University, Massachusetts, USA. She has taught at I.P. College and Miranda House, Delhi University. Being an itinerant Air Force wife, she took to writing and editing. Her pieces have appeared on the editorial pages of national newspapers like The Times of India and The Indian Express and in some leading news magazines like Outlook. She admires the Indian Air Force unabashedly for the dedication and excellence of its men and women for whom the sky is not the limit.

The book, Idris & Bilkees Latif: The Fragrance Lingers On, a tribute to the iconic Air Force couple, was edited by Ushi Kak in February 2019.
