Dr. Datta’s humility is manifest prominently when he talks of his internship days - the man who dropped the knife during his maiden surgical experience, has become a legend in his lifetime. He imbibed the lesson his guru gave him: “Hold the knife like a pen, not like a dagger.” Now, lo and behold, he wields the pen as skilfully as his knife and weaves stories in words so beautiful.
