JT Nayaham
Born in 1945, the author grew up in Bangalore. He passed the Senior Cambridge Examination from Bishop Cotton Boys’ School and then graduated from St. Joseph’s College, with an Arts degree.
Obsessed with aviation from early childhood, he joined the Indian Air Force and was Commissioned in 1967. During his days in uniform, he served in some of the remotest areas of the country.
As an operational helicopter pilot, he saw action in the 1971 war with Pakistan and was also part of the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) in Sri Lanka. He opted for Voluntary Retirement from the Air Force as a Wing Commander in 1990.
Post-retirement, he has been a regular contributor to several aviation publications, as well as to newspapers. Besides writing short stories and poetry, his hobbies include singing and recording country music, sketching, cooking and photography.
Talespin is the second book to be written and published by him, his first being The Devil’s Workshop.
Wing Commander JT (Jaytee) Nayaham resides in Bengaluru.
