Mysore Prabhakar has worn many hats in his life with great distinction.
As a young naval officer, he took part in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. In 1986, he headed a naval team to train cadets in Nigeria. Later, he took part in the IPKF operations in Sri Lanka.
An inveterate traveller, he went from exploring the bylanes of South Bangalore to visiting over fifty countries (and counting) with Antarctica the only continent left to conquer.
When he isn’t traveling, he experiments with cooking global cuisines and is an avid golfer.
He lives in Bengaluru with his wife.
