Although I am a writer at heart and a graphic designer by profession, my hobby ranges from occasional painting, songwriting, playing the guitar and keyboard. After finding my calling and passion, I decided to pick up a pen (not literally) and put into words my imagination. A part of me has always had trouble expressing what I feel, and I wonder if this led to missed opportunities. Art was my escape! I could translate my thoughts into words, be it through music, songs or writing. I find solace in writing; it is when I feel I can create worlds out of thin air and, for a moment, I live in them – to close my eyes and be engulfed in the written words.
Among my siblings, I am the eldest. I have always been a fan of romantic novels, and to one day be able to 'write a full-length romantic novel' is added to my bucket list. Everything starts with small steps, and I hope this book is the start of the journey to another ‘tick’ on my bucket list.
