Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis collection of poems “Waves of Thought” illustrates the multiple thoughts which dwell in our minds. It is a perfect read for all age groups. These poems have been the greatest source of expression, especially whenever we fail to project well. The phrases are the epitome of innumerable human emotions, social conflicts, ways of life, as well as the beautification of nature. It will perfectly blend with happy, hectic, overthoughtful, tired waves. In spite of the hardships, the daily situations along with circumstances gave birth to these golden words. The core of writing this book, began with rhyming, moving on to correlating the circumstances, joy, calmness, love, grief, misery, and being able to pen them right. These thoughts symbolize the sweet and sour journey of my life.
Dr. Shagufa Amber
Meet Shagufa Amber… Composed, cool and calm! Dr. Shagufa Amber is working as an Assistant Professor at Usha Martin University, Jharkhand. She completed her PG from Jamia Milia Islamia (MPT-Cardiopulmonary) and is an alumnus of Loreto Convent, Ranchi.
Poetry is considered a wisdom language, a vehicle of thought, feeling, and spirit dressed up in words that have several layers of meaning. Through her poems, she has observed & contemplated beautifully family, nature as well as social life and balanced her emotions with her thoughts. Writing poetry is a kind of therapy for Shagufa Amber, in coping with the grief of the death of her beloved ones at a very early age. She began writing in Vth standard. It depicted her inner journey as a mature Poetess.
Growing up she developed an interest in literature from her grandfather who was a ravenous reader. He groomed her way of life and taught her the meaning of Life. Her poems are catharsis of her emotions, love, and affection for her parents and grandparents. Its simplicity and rhythm compelled me to cry like an innocent child. The “Waves of Thought”, is a memoir of her life’s journey till now. She is a reader with an instinct for research. Her clinical research papers have found a place in international journals. ‘Waves of Thought’ is her debut anthology of poems.
