Dr. R. Devanand
Recipient of the National Merit Scholarship in the year 2000, Gold medalist in MA [English] and a Rank holder in Journalism [BA] from Mysore University, Dr R Devanand started his teaching career at Jyoti Nivas College, Bangalore. His brilliant work on Mahesh Dattani’s plays, with an acute explorative spirit, multi-dimensional views, and sue generis interpretations fetched him a PhD. He has published around 20 research articles in Peer-reviewed/ UGC Care-listed journals with ISBN/ISSN. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor and heads the Department of English at Government First Grade College, Koratagere, Karnataka.
