Dr. Purnendu Bikash Sarkar is an Ophthalmologist by profession. From morning to night, he remains busy in his clinic, Salt Lake Eye Foundation, to give relief to his patients. He is a well-reputed eye surgeon and every day giving light to thousands of visually handicapped patients with his magical skill.
Dr. Sarkar is an ardent Tagore lover and a great researcher. In spite of his busy schedule, Dr. Sarkar has researched and compiled two valuable works on Tagore’s Songs (Gitabitan Archive) and poems (Rabindra Kobita Archive).
