Dr. Harish C. Upadhyay is a distinguished medicinal chemist with a deep passion for unrevealing the mysteries of the chemical world. He started his research career at CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow, and has been awarded a PhD degree in medicinal chemistry by Dr. R.M.L. Awadh University, Ayodhya. At present, Dr. Upadhyay is working as an assistant professor of chemistry in the Department of Applied Sciences at Rajkiya Engineering College, Churk, Sonbhadra, a government college affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, India, where he is actively involved in medicinal and natural product chemistry research. His research on medicinal plants, the discovery and development of bioactive molecules, and the development of eco-friendly synthetic methods make him a responsible medicinal chemist.
