The author’s book ‘Hollow’ is divided into three phases of life that explores her fall and the realms of isolation that follows the fall.
HA penned this deeply personal collection of poems during her graduation while reflecting on the ravaged roads she traversed and meditating on her long road to recovery, liberation and self-discovery.
Ultimately, it is a story that she shares with many women like herself, desolated by the world, trapped in the fall and isolated within themselves. It is a whisper to those in pain to embrace it. Fearless. And follow the heart into it. Because the heart needs to grieve. And that from the wilderness burnt down only to grow again and again, you shall emerge stronger and radiant than ever.
HA hails from the city of lakes, Bhopal. She is an engineer by profession. She has been writing poems, lyrics and short stories since she was 14. She also has keen inclination towards contemporary artwork and illustration. Her passion for writing made her determined to write her first book.
Her words that were born in solitude, betrayal and heartbreak chronicles her survival through the disintegrated phases of her life. She wants to share her emotions with the people, those unspoken words which she kept locked in her heart. By doing this she wants to tell people that it’s okay to let your emotions scream out and face yourself.
